Wow, this is strong stuff. The new campaign, designed by Regenbogen e.V. in conjunction with the advertising agency ‘das comitee’, speaks in clear terms: its slogan is “AIDS is a mass murderer“. It features the greatest mass murderers in recent history having sex (including Hitler – featured in the video below). Thoughts? Check out the site and view the advert.
Here’s the site

Love this great site – celebraring the legacy of the historic Nike Air Jordan trainers. Really like the ace 3D animations.

Blatantly obvious attempt to crank up buzz but how far have they overstepped the mark? Thoughts?

Fantastic animation (and really cute voice over) for a recent Brazilian campaign encouraging people to ‘Pee During Showers’.

Did anyone else notice that the fixture list was omitted from Southampton and Blackpool match day programmes? Me, my old man and one of my mates were going to use the fixture list within the programme to plan / pick the upcoming matches we’d like to attend (pretty much all home games and maybe a few away fixtures). I was amazed when the programme didn’t include the fixture list. Surely that’s a massive error? Never before had I seen a programme without a fixture list.
So, when the official QPR website asked for feedback on the ‘new’ matchday programme I thought I’d ask the question…

To which Ian Taylor, the Press & PR Manager at QPR replied:
“It was left out of the Saints match due to the reduced page pagination and it was a design fault that ensured it didn’t make it in to the Blackpool programme, which I am bloody peeved about! Thanks again for the feedback Dan and please feel free to send in your entry for either MY DREAM TEAM or FAN OF THE WEEK.
Regards
Ian”
So there we have it – looks like some poor designer somewhere has had their knuckles well and truly whacked. At least we now know it was an error rather than some of the other ridiculous consipracy theories I heard on Saturday. Nice of Ian to reply.

Just seen Land Rover’s latest ad’s on Fubiz. I’ve recently developed a love for tilt shift photography. It adds a really cool dimension to the image and reminds me a bit of Postman Pat for some reason – so a bit of nostalgia thrown in there too, maybe?
I just love the way tilst-shift makes everything child-like. You need to look really hard in order to convince yourself that what you’re seeing is real. It’s ace in my opinion and I think the new Land Rover adverts are spot on.
You can find more til-shift work here. Pretty cool.

To be fair to Coldplay they do tend to have some quite interesting and creative ideas when it comes to their music videos. The Scientist and Life in Technicolour are two that I’ve particularly liked recently.
However, I think the Strawberry Swing video is now my favourite. I love the style and flow of the video. The best music video I’ve seen in a while.

Don’t know about you but I love both Pixar’s short films and their full features. Really beautiful to look at – visual porn. The latest edition, Partly Cloudy is really sweet. Take a look and let me know your thoughts. Enjoy..
